JEANNE WHITE RECEIVES ADVOCACY AWARD

The Massachusetts Nurses Association honors Jeanne White with the MNA Advocate for Nursing Award at its annual Award Dinner on October 5, 2011
Jeanne M. White has supported and connected nurses over the airwaves for many years. She been unrelenting in her advocacy to stop violence against health care providers and has visited the State House to voice her concerns. Jeanne recently participated in an internet radio show to increase public awareness of violence in the health care setting in her community of listeners. She provides a venue for victims to talk about violence and discuss solutions, allowing those who want to share their stories a safe venue to do so. The goal of Jeanne’s show is to connect people and provide support. Jeanne is accomplished in multiple disciplines and possesses a wide range of knowledge, blending and utilizing a varied skill set to advocate for nurses. The Massachusetts Nurses Association is pleased to present the MNA Advocate for Nursing Award to Ms. Jeanne M. White - October 5, 2011.
